The Fellowship Committee at St. Paul Lutheran Church provides fellowship opportunities for the congregation, mid-week Bread and Broth during Wednesday evenings in Lent, weekly coffee & snacks following each Sunday worship, potlucks (Lutherans LOVE potluck dinners), our annual church picnic in September, Easter Sunday brunch, and special celebratory occasions where our spiritual hunger is fed among our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our social ministry is comprised of a variety of outreaches. Examples include school and health kits compiled for Lutheran World Relief, support for United Campus Ministries at Millersville University, quilting and knitting groups, and committee outreach projects directed toward supporting specific local, synodical and global ministries and partnerships. The Annual Millersville Day Parade (usually the 3rd Saturday in October) provides a high-profile venue for us to extend Christian hospitality to parade-goers (we’re right on the parade route) – hot dogs and refreshments are available for purchase with receipts directed toward a specific mission project.
